The project
The Congress of the Italian Chemical Society SCI 2024 – is one of the most important events for the scientific community in the field of chemistry in Italy. The XXVIII SCI Congress, scheduled for Aug. 26-30, 2024 at the Allianz Mi.Co. conference center, provided a meeting point for 2,500 participants including researchers, professionals and academics from all over the world, creating opportunities for discussion and exchange of ideas on the most topical issues in chemistry.
An event of this magnitude required meticulous planning, flawless management and the involvement of experts in event organization. Promoest Srl, with its years of experience in the field, was selected to take care of all logistical aspects, ensuring the success of the event.
Challenges and goals
Organizing a scientific conference such as SCI 2024 is not just a matter of logistics, but involves creating an environment that fosters networking and the exchange of ideas among participants.
The goal was to ensure the success of a series of conferences, workshops and poster sessions, facilitating interaction between universities, research centers and the chemical industry.

Planning and organization
Promoest Srl played a key role from the early planning stages.
After working with the Italian Chemical Society to outline the objectives and requirements of the event, our team selected the most suitable location, taking into account criteria such as accessibility, capacity and services offered.
The choice of venue played a key role in ensuring optimal reception for 2,500 participants, divided into 18 rooms for the parallel scientific sessions.
A highly efficient and fully digitized enrollment management system was implemented.
Through a dedicated online platform, participants were able to register with ease, receiving all necessary information in a timely manner.

Another key aspect of the congress was the management of sponsors and exhibitors.
